the interview process was fine but they ghosted me and did not give any notice that they went with another candidate. seems like a very white establishment. 3 rounds, met with different stakeholders.

It was a super easy interview, just one Zoom call with three interviewers. We had a relaxed conversation about my general knowledge of pop culture and how a studio operates. They spent a good amount of time explaining my potential responsibilities and checking my comfort level with the tasks involved.

I applied online via my school's career services and then got an on-campus interview. The interviewer was self-absorbed, and the HR person felt impersonal. The interviewer offered a second interview immediately, which was unprofessional. The next stage was a two-day "HQ event" in NYC where they made us feel like we already had jobs. There were 10 of us, and they said they'd hire all of us if they liked us, which turned out to be a lie. I felt I was the most qualified candidate with sales passion and prior internships. They asked rude and irrelevant questions. As I was leaving, an executive falsely told me I'd get an offer the next day. The next day, I got an email saying I wasn't chosen. This was a very unprofessional experience; I'm disappointed I wasted my time. They make you feel special but already know who they want. I suggest not going there for a sales career; they manipulate college students.

I found this interview opportunity through the Columbia University career site. A professor I know was really involved with The Post, and a lot of Columbia grads end up working there. The interview itself wasn't too tough. I was pretty shocked when HR told me that I basically had no electronic privacy with my NYP email, phone, and other communications. The work environment seemed really competitive, aggressive, high-strung, and not very friendly.
