I met with a committee of three people for the interview. They were very nice, respectful, and the atmosphere was relaxed. They were interested in my background and shared information about the school's culture, noting similarities and differences compared to my previous academic and professional experiences. The environment felt friendly and open, which I'm comfortable with coming from LA. They want me to set up a mock teaching session for our next meeting, which is something I've done before and know how to handle.

The interview was straightforward and I got to show my skills to a panel who listened. There wasn't any follow up, I had to call to check in and it felt like the hiring manager forgot about it. They said 'Oh ya! we want to hire you. Start next week.'
