I had one in-person interview with two people and got an offer right away. It was fast and easy. They asked a few questions about my future goals and interests. Mostly, they described what the job would entail. They asked why I was interested in this department. They also asked about my experience and background that applies to the role.

The interview started about 30 minutes later than scheduled. When I arrived, the candidate who was supposed to interview before me actually hosted me, and I ended up doing the same for the candidate after me. The interview experience was quite poor; three interviewers asked predetermined, uninspired questions, mostly related to HR. I suspect one of the interviewers might have even dozed off briefly. It felt like they were just going through the motions for administrative purposes. None of them seemed particularly engaged, and they often didn't seem to listen to my responses. It felt like a complete waste of my time.
