The interview was half a day long and involved giving a mock 5-minute class presentation to a group of two 10th graders. Although they said no teaching experience was required, it was clear they expected candidates to know how to teach a lesson. Many applicants were former teachers, which was confusing since the posting seemed to imply no prior experience was allowed. It felt like they might have run out of candidates and started accepting people with previous teaching experience, making it hard for those without any background to compete. There seemed to be a disconnect between what New Visions stated and their actual practices.
