First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at New Acquisitions.
Marketing Manager
The interview process was pretty nice. Everyone was friendly, and the interviews started on time. There were three rounds in total. The first round, which lasted about 15 minutes, was to get a general feel for me. Later that same day, I got a call for a second interview. I went in two days later and the interviewer told me about the company's processes, career path, and salary structure. It felt more like they were selling the company to me rather than asking a lot of questions. Then, I completed a questionnaire and spoke with the branch director who asked a few questions. About 45 minutes after that, I got a job offer. I declined politely, explained why, and we ended on good terms. Even though it wasn't the right fit for me, the interviewers were professional and honest throughout.
- What distinctive contributions can you make to our company?
- What motivated you to apply for a position at New Acquisitions?
Marketing Manager
I applied and got a call for some initial questions. After passing that, I was invited to an in-person interview in Atlanta. They talked about the general training and advancement structure. The interviewer was pretty new and didn't really go into the day-to-day tasks of the job or what the work actually was. He mostly talked about the company's financial success and its clients.
- Can you share a strength that would be useful in this role?
Marketing Manager
I interviewed for a Junior Marketing Manager position. They said they only promote from within, so everyone starts by selling DirecTV at Costco. The program moves fast, and in 8 months, you could supposedly be a Director of Operations. This felt like a Pyramid Scheme where after 3 months, you're expected to hire more people, and by 8 months, you have your own office.
- What do you think is the biggest challenge within this program?
