Legal Counsel
The interview process was really positive. Started with a quick screening call, followed by a few rounds of interviews with the legal team, business folks, and some execs. Each step felt like a good conversation. Overall, it felt like a really good fit, and I left the process feeling excited about what could come next

It was refreshing interviewing at Neustar Security Services. They listed the pay band up-front. The first phone screen interviewer was really open about the role, growth, and salary. She got back to me in an hour about salary, and while it didn't work out, I'm grateful I found out early. I also learned during the phone screen that interviews are max three rounds. I really respected that and would recommend them.

Marketing Solutions Consultant
Recruiter contacted me after I applied. After a phone screen, she thought I'd be a better fit for another role, which I appreciated. She set up an interview with the hiring manager a few days later, about a week before Christmas. This interview was more exploratory than I expected. The manager explained the role in detail and didn't ask me any questions. As it ended, she mentioned I probably wouldn't hear about a second interview until after the new year. A few days into the new year, I emailed the manager and got a vague 'update' thanking me for my patience while the team got back after the holidays. Another two weeks went by, and I contacted the recruiter, who immediately told me they'd hired someone else. The manager's vague, non-answer response really left a bad impression and felt like they were just avoiding giving bad news and stringing me along. Why not just be upfront about moving forward with another candidate? Why even respond to my email? Applicants are really grateful for interviews and show patience, so the least they could do is be honest.

Software Development Engineer
Got contacted by HR on LinkedIn. There were 4 interview rounds in total. The first round was a HackerEarth programming test. The second round was a technical HR interview with 3 medium-level programming questions, covering Java concepts like oops, threads, collections, exceptions, and basic SQL queries. The third round was another technical HR interview focusing on Spring, Hibernate, and SQL, along with Java concepts (medium questions). The final round was with the Hiring Manager, who asked about design concepts using microservices for a Ticket Booking App similar to BookMyShow. I had really bad internet issues during this round, which seemed to irritate the interviewer.
