First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Neurocrine Biosciences.
Senior Scientist
I made it to an on-site interview and it was a horrible experience. I had to wake up at 4 am for a flight to get there and present my seminar at 9 am the same day. I finally left the same day for my flight at 7 pm, and got home at 1 am. It was a terrible experience, honestly the worst I've had in pharma. I ended up pushing back on start date timelines and didn't get an offer.

First round was a call with the recruiter. Second round was a mini presentation to the hiring manager. Third round was onsite. It included a research presentation with questions (1hr), a technical interview (1hr), an HR style interview (1hr), lunch, and a discussion with the recruiter.

The interview process was really fun and energetic. Everyone was super nice and asked me some great questions. I genuinely enjoyed the entire experience and would totally recommend interviewing here.
