Security Consultant
It was a 3 step interview process with clear communication along the way. Good process overall and great people. Great interview and recruitment team with clear next steps during every part of the interview and hiring process.
- Can you list common ports that are used?
Security Consultant
The interview process was pretty straightforward and mostly focused on understanding your interests, like what got you into the field and why you liked this particular job. But, the pay is a big issue. The starting salary is really low, and there's a strict two-year commitment. If you leave before the two years are up, you have to pay a hefty penalty. Even if you stay the whole time, the promotion only bumps the salary to $70k, which I don't think is fair for the work. For fresh grads, I'd suggest looking for other jobs with better pay and growth. There are tons of great roles out there worth looking into!
- Can you explain Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) and its remediation techniques?
Security Consultant
The interview process involved 3 rounds: first a screening, then an assessment where I had to find bugs in an HTML source code file and answer questions about it, and finally a tech interview that went deep into web app vulnerabilities like XSS, CSRF, and SQLi.
- Can you explain what XSS is and describe its various types?
- Tell me about different kinds of vulnerabilities found in web applications, such as XSS, CSRF, and SQLi.
- Your task is to find bugs in the given HTML source code file. What did you find?
