So the interview had about 4-5 rounds. It kicked off with a technical screen on .NET basics, then a coding test. After that, we had a more in-depth technical chat about frameworks, APIs, and what I'd done in past projects. The last bit was with HR, talking about my career goals, what I'm looking for, and the company's vibe. Pretty smooth overall.

Confirmed questions2 questions
  • Can you explain basic .NET concepts, including OOP, API development, and how the .NET lifecycle works?
  • Tell me about your experience with .NET frameworks, APIs, and your past projects.

Technical Coding

This company's hiring journey was a bit of a letdown. It felt less about what you know and more about who you know, which was a bummer if you're actually skilled. The interviews were also super tough and all over the place. You'd get hit with hard tech questions and then get rejected at the very end for no real reason. Honestly, it felt like a waste of my time.

Confirmed questions3 questions
  • Be prepared for difficult questions regarding Node.js event loop, async patterns, memory leaks, rate limiting, middleware, streams, and security.
  • For MongoDB, anticipate questions on indexing, the aggregation pipeline, data modeling, sharding, transactions, schema validation, and query optimization using explain().
  • Expect a lot of coding questions.

We started with a reasoning and aptitude test, then moved to a basic level coding interview covering arrays, linked lists, hash functions, and binary tree basics in any programming language, including pseudo-code questions. After that, there was a soft skills interview focusing on English speaking abilities, logical reasoning, and a personality test, followed by an HR round.

Confirmed questions2 questions
  • Could you explain what a hash function is?
  • What's the worst-case time complexity for binary search?
