Senior Functional Tester
It was a face to face interview for round 1. It was the worst experience. HR called and updated that I cleared round 1 and asked for my availability for round 2. They dragged the same for a week saying the panel is busy and later disappeared without any response. After multiple follow ups, they mentioned that they are not going ahead. They don't have proper clarity and it seems like there are lots of internal issues. So don't waste your time.
- Were there any role-related questions in testing?
Senior Software Engineer
So, HR initially told me it was gonna be three rounds: one technical, one behavioral, and one managerial. The first round was technical, and it was pretty much all about Core Java, my past projects, and the tech I’ve used. They also threw in a few Angular questions. It went for about an hour. Round 2 was behavioral, mostly digging into my work experience, how I handle different situations, and examples of teamwork. This one was shorter, around 30 minutes, and it went fine. After those two, HR said I was shortlisted and gave me good feedback from the interviewers. But then, everything just stopped. No managerial round was ever set up, and even after reaching out multiple times, there was no real update or resolution. Eventually, HR just ghosted me. Honestly, it was a bad experience. They were super quick to schedule the first two rounds, but then they just went radio silent and were dismissive. The managerial round was never scheduled.
- Can you describe your experience implementing multithreading in Java or Spring projects?
- Could you explain your use of event-driven architecture in applications?
- Regarding Angular, how does state management function, and what methods or tools have you employed for managing complex application states?
Help Desk Technician
They usually hire contractors through a third-party company that vets candidates first. So, before you even interview, they ensure the third party has qualified you. Then there's the standard HR process for setting up interviews and handling paperwork. They ask a lot of scenario-based questions like, 'A user does X, what do you try next?' After covering basic Level 1 scenarios, your supervisor or a team lead will ask about your employment status and how you've used your skills to show your strengths and weaknesses across IT. Technical questions get harder as the hiring manager assesses your skill level and how fast you can think under pressure. Just be honest; they don't expect you to know everything.
- Questions about hardware, software, customer service, and office products were asked.
- They also asked about your experience with hardware.
- They also asked about your experience with software.
System Engineer
The whole thing took about a month. I applied, but didn't get it the first time. Then, the same position opened up again, so I had to wait for that to go through. First, I talked to the recruiter for basic HR stuff like my background and what I want money-wise. Then, the hiring managers interviewed me. Their 'Tech' interview was all about my experience, what I do now, and testing my knowledge on certain tech. I made sure to give extra details on things like SQL, Bash, and how containers work to really show what I know. I also asked specific questions about their tech setup to show I'd done my homework. Got a verbal offer about a week later, and the official one a few weeks after that once they sorted out the new position details. Kind of feel misled though because the new role had a different schedule than what I first applied for, but the pay and duties stayed the same.
- Can you explain your understanding of container deployment?
- Do you use Bash scripting in your current role?
