Easy interviews. First round with Hiring manager and then three technical interviews. They didn't ask any questions on system design or app architecture or app performance. Kept my candidature on hold for weeks and then said they can't offer me Staff position but only a senior engineer position. The weird part is that they themselves didn't know the reason for such absurdity. They didn't have any negative feedback to share - NOT A SINGLE NEGATIVE FEEDBACK. Complete waste of time, energy and resources.

First, there was an HR screening. Then, the Hiring Manager conducted a coding round. After that, there was a technical round focused on coding. Finally, there was a Director round, also a coding round. The TA recruiter was the one who set up all the interviews. The Director round candidate seemed really arrogant, like he just came from a customer escalation meeting, and he looked very tired.

It was a 3 round process, all technical. The first round was with the Hiring Manager. He asked about my projects and gave me a coding question about trapping rainwater. I used a stack but made a mistake, and even with his help, we couldn't find it, but he let it go. The second round was with a senior or staff engineer. They asked about microservices, how they communicate, high availability architecture, quorum-based leader decisions, and how message queues work. There was also a coding question about finding the first non-repeating character in a string. The third round was similar, focusing on microservices and their details, plus another coding question I couldn't solve in time: finding the first missing positive integer in an array in O(N) time and O(1) space.
