Technical Presentation

Had 6 interviews: two with SEs, two with sales reps, one with the SE manager, and one with the VP of sales. Then a presentation in person. I thought it was a done deal, but they told me the job went to an internal referral. Apparently, two other SEs I know went through the exact same thing. They never actually hire anyone, they just say it went to someone referred internally. Super weird.

We had a few phone calls to get things rolling and to get updates on progress. Then there was an informal chat about technical skills. After that, I had to do a presentation, but the topic wasn't about IT. Finally, there were some HR questions about my sales background, and I also met the team to learn more about the product.

The interview process involved a manager round, followed by two technical rounds. The people interviewing were very nice, and the HR recruiters were also easy to interact with, which made the interview process comfortable. It then slowly led to scenario-based questions.
