I had a second interview with the hiring manager, which I thought went well. However, it seems like it was a waste of time. After he finished asking his questions, I asked how to proceed. He then told me I was lower on the list because I lacked experience in networking, essentially rejecting me. I'm frustrated because if he knew I didn't have networking experience, why interview me? Most fresh grads don't have much networking experience. Also, the hiring manager seemed really pretentious, and I'm glad I won't be working for someone like that.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

Applied online and the whole thing took over a month. I interviewed at Los Altos in October 2016. It kicked off with a recruiter call, then I had to leave a 30-second voicemail for the Sales Manager pitching Netskope products. After that, a 30-minute phone chat with the Sales Manager about my background. Finally, I went onsite and met with two SDRs and the Sales Manager.

I had an initial chat with a Netskope recruiter who seemed to like my background. He said he'd let me know about feedback and next steps the following week. After waiting 3 working days (which felt like 5 full days), I emailed him to check in and thank him for his time. It's been 3 weeks now and still no word, so I guess they ghosted me. Pretty unprofessional.
