First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Netcracker Technology.
Solution Architect
It was an online video call interview with the Technical Delivery Manager. They were very very nice and comfortable to talk to. We had a discussion about my work profile, day to day work, growth path, aspirations, why I'm interested in this company, and my reasons for changing jobs. The interviewer also asked about my preferred job role and profile.
- Tell me about Call Flows.
- What do you know about Cloud technologies?
- Can you explain Cassandra?
Solutions Architect
So I interviewed for this role and went through like 8-9 rounds. It was with different Senior BAs and Solution architects, and even some leaders from India and Russia. First, I talked to the recruiter. Then, there were 3 technical rounds, which I passed. After that, I had HR rounds where I gave my salary expectations and other info. HR then wanted another meeting with the BSS head in India. That led to 2 more talks with the BSS lead in Russia and the lead solution architect in Russia. After all that, I had another HR round, giving salary details again. Everything seemed to go really well, and I spent about 9-10 hours in total. But a day later, the recruiter emailed saying the position is on hold. I guess they couldn't meet my salary expectations, which is fine, but they should have told me upfront instead of wasting my time. For a senior role, this felt very unprofessional.
- Tell me about your experience with solution architecture.
- Can you describe your business analysis skills?
- Walk me through your process for end-to-end solution design.
Solutions Architect
The interview was on time and HR communication was good. However, a panel member from Mexico was rude. When I said I was an immediate joiner and told him my current salary, he said, 'Your current salary is zero, and you are unemployed.' That was disrespectful and unprofessional. Interviews should be about skills, not demeaning comments. It gave a bad impression of the company's hiring culture. Management should train interviewers to be professional and respectful. One bad experience can hurt the company's reputation and deter good candidates.
- Regarding VPCs, how would you establish connectivity between two VPCs?
