I went through the interview process twice for a business analyst position in POC/Catalog. I felt I explained everything well, but the feedback mentioned I lacked catalog knowledge, which was surprising given my 9+ years of experience in that area. I suspect I was rejected due to internal insecurities, possibly related to salary comparisons, as the interviewer inquired about my current and expected salary, a question I believe is best suited for HR.

Confirmed questions3 questions
  • Can you tell me about the components involved in configuring products?
  • How do you handle client interactions and how do clients typically reach out to you?
  • Could you please share your current salary and your salary expectations?

The entire interview process was smooth with positive feedback at every step, however, the company stopped responding afterwards. There were 3 rounds of technical interviews covering the Telecom BSS stack, the order journey, Agile methodology, and project management, followed by an HR interview. The HR person even gave positive feedback on the technical interviews and discussed compensation terms and flexibility, asking for my decision. I responded the same day, but the HR person hasn't replied since, and it's been over a month. I've tried reaching out via email and phone with no success.

  • Can you tell me about your knowledge of Telecom BSS, its fundamentals, and relevant business scenarios?
