First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Netcore.
Software Engineer Intern
The interview had 3 rounds. First was about aws basics and drawing out how frontend and backend work together. Second round had an aptitude question and deep dive into my projects' architecture. The third was supposed to be HR but turned into deep resume questions.
- Can you explain the working of load balancers in a web server?
- How is communication established between the frontend and the backend?
Software Engineer
this round lasted for about 30mins. Interviewer was very friendly, asked me to introduce myself briefly and then asked about my experience with LinkedList and Stack. After that, they asked me some fundamental JavaScript questions. Finally, the interview concluded with some general HR questions, such as inquiring about my interest in joining the company.
- Could you elaborate on your skillset, focusing on LinkedList and Stack?
- What distinguishes a Linked List from Arrays?
- Could you address a few basic JavaScript questions?
Senior Software Engineer
It was a 3 round interview. First round had medium algo questions. Second was a tech virtual round. Third was an HR round which happened 10 days after. They sent JD, and coding test which I felt wasn't related to the JD. My suggestion to HR is to be more serious with candidates and help them with their queries instead of waiting for them to decline the offer. After declining the offer, they didn't provide support for any confusion regarding technology or work projects.
- Questions depend on the panel's mood; if junior resources are present, they ask Google-based questions.
- They don't listen; you just need to be timely and answer the questions asked. I declined the offer because they don't have fresh, new work aligned with my experience. Based on the panel, they are working on products for SMS and emailing, and offers like rummy play, credit cards, etc. Make sure all questions are cleared in the tech round, otherwise, there's no support from HR after the offer is rolled out regarding any confusion on technology or work projects.
- Based on my experience, it seems that after joining, they will assign work based on their technology rather than the candidate's potential, as they asked data structure questions in the first round, and after that, none of them explained similar kinds of work, which products ideally explain.
