First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Nestlé.
Management Trainee
So first, they screened my CV, then there were games and a prerecorded video interview. After that, I got an invite to the FGD phase, which was honestly my worst recruiting experience ever (Jakarta). We had to show up at the venue at 8 AM and only got the schedule details once everyone was there, and guess what? I was scheduled for 6 PM. The first hour was some seminar that had nothing to do with the case or anything, just a basic sales pitch for Nestle, which is kinda pointless since we're already interested enough to apply for a job here?!?! Then I had to wait in an unfamiliar venue (a campus) for literally 8 hours with no food or drinks or even a proper waiting room provided (They even tried to sell us their products instead of giving them to us as an apology for making us wait 8 HOURS). The FGD itself was okay, pretty easy case, but it lacked a lot of detail, like what output they were actually expecting.

Management Trainee
It was interesting, there was an assessment centre, and a case study with lunch provided. It requires teamwork and showcasing yourself to be outgoing. Good experience, despite getting rejected HAHA. Some advice : Practice working through case studies and presenting solutions, Prepare examples of your skills and experiences to share, Research the company and role to understand what they're looking for, Get a good night's sleep and eat a healthy lunch to stay energized, Be yourself and let your personality shine through, don't undersell yourself !

Senior Risk Manager
It was a real smooth and fast process. Started with a quick HR call, then some cognitive and behavioral tests, followed by interviews with the hiring manager and HR again. If it had gone further, there would have been another interview, but it stopped there. HR called me personally to let me know which was a nice touch, usually it's just an email. I felt like the whole thing was a bit of a formality and the decision was already made, the hiring manager didn't really dig into my experience. I did score in the top 1% on the cognitive test, have 10 years experience and a recognized cert, but got a 'no' for 'lack of some knowledge' which felt weird. I think they really favor internal hires, making it tough for outsiders no matter what.
