Brand Manager
So the interview process kicked off with an initial chat with HR. Then, there was a second round that included both HR and the hiring manager. After that, I did a HireVue video interview and tackled a business case, which I sent back via email. The very last step was a more casual chat with someone who would be a future teammate. All in all, the whole thing took about a month, with pretty much one interview or task each week. It was cool how the HR folks seemed to really know their stuff about the role and the industry, which made it easy to get a good handle on the job and its responsibilities right from the start.

Assistant Brand Manager
it was like friendly questions about my experiences, and motivations. what do I know about the company, and the brand, Problem solving skills are important: How do you prioritize? How do you collaborate with cross-functional teams ?

Senior Brand Manager
So the process kicked off with two HR interviews, then I talked to the hiring manager. Right before the final stage, they had me do and present a case study, which I got an hour before the interview. Right at the start, I made sure to ask if there was an internal successor for the role, mostly 'cause I didn't wanna waste my time and energy again, since this isn't my first rodeo with Nestlé. They told me no. After I did all the interviews and put in a ton of work, including that case study, HR called to say I got picked – but then they hit me with the news that the role was on hold. I followed up a bunch, and they finally told me it went to someone internal. Super frustrating, especially since I asked that specific question upfront and got what turned out to be a misleading answer. This is the third time this has happened to me at Nestlé, and I'm pretty sure they post jobs that aren't actually open.
- What are your strategies for category growth?
- What is the long-term outlook for the category?
- How do you approach category planning?
