Behavioral Group

I applied online and about a month later, an HR person called me. We set up a phone interview for the following week. The phone interview had some behavioral questions and some screening questions to see if I was a good fit for the company and if I was interested in their management trainee program. A week or two after that, they contacted me to set up an interview at their headquarters. There, I had a tour of the building with HR where we learned about Purina and the company culture. Then I had lunch with other people who applied. Finally, there were three group interviews, each with two people from different departments. Most questions were behavioral. They also explained what they do daily and what they look for in an intern. The interviews were relaxed and a good way to learn about Purina and its culture. My advice is to be honest about your experiences, ask questions, and be confident in why you're a good fit.

Behavioral Other

I got reached out by a Purina recruiter and had an info call. After that, I applied on their website and set up an interview with the hiring manager. But on the interview day, the hiring manager didn't show up. I emailed to follow up and was told she called and left a voicemail I never got. So I had to reschedule for the next week, and just before that rescheduled interview, I was informed the position was filled internally and the process was over. A lot of people say Purina is a good company, but my experience was the total opposite.

Behavioral Technical Other

I'm still in college and have interviewed with tons of companies, but Purina was by far the most comfortable. Applied online and got a call the next day to set up a phone interview. It was pretty chill, just what you'd expect. About a week later, they emailed to invite me for an on-site interview. When I got there, they showed me around the facility and let me chat with a bunch of the managers I'd be working with. The next day, I interviewed with some of those same people I met the day before.
