& Process

HR reached out to me through Piazza, and then I scheduled a call to hear about the position. During this call we scheduled a time for a first round phone interview. After the phone interview, I heard back a week later saying I'd been selected to continue to the second round, which was in person at the offices. I was interviewed there by three people, all resume and "tell me a time when" type questions. I got the offer, but then the post offer process was absolutely terrible in the way they communicated with me. Their HR department is a total mess. I rejected the offer, and will not be working for them. They were rude and non-collaborative.

I applied online in September and was contacted back and asked to set up a 30 minute phone interview. The phone interview asked for specific scenarios to prove that I had certain skills that they desired including: Initiative, Intuition, Communication Skills, and other categories. I was asked to give elaborate examples of times where I exemplified these behaviors. After the phone interview, I was called and asked to come to St. Louis for a series of 1:1 interviews. During this point, they explained the environment and culture of the company citing it as a work hard/ play hard environment. The company was very efficient about the interview process. I easily arranged a flight and hotel through the company, all expenses paid (including meals during my trip.) I then had a series of 3 one-hour interviews with 3 separate employees. They asked me many scenario-based questions in which I was again asked to exemplify specific traits.

I applied online and got an email a few days later to set up a phone interview. It was an hour with recruiting, starting with my resume, then two behavioral questions, and I could ask questions at the end. Two days later, I got a call saying they wanted me to fly out for an in-person interview, all expenses paid. This was scheduled for about three weeks after the phone interview. I was told I'd have three one-hour interviews with two managers each, and I'd need to answer four behavioral questions using the STAR method in each, with a different example each time (12 total). I also had time for questions at the end of each interview. An ambassador who was a past management trainee helped me prepare and answer questions. On the interview day, the same recruiter from the phone interview met us and took us to our rooms for the three interviews. After that, we had lunch and a tour. Two days later, I got a verbal offer and accepted the written one the next day. I was invited to VIPurina day to learn more and meet people. This was a very straightforward interview process with clear expectations and consistent communication, and I appreciated having the same contact person throughout.
