The interview process involved an initial phone screen, followed by a panel interview with the hiring manager and three team members. The focus was on assessing my experience and behavioral competencies, including how I handle conflicts and my most exciting professional experiences.

Behavioral

I had a phone interview first, which was mostly about my work history and then they asked me two behavioral questions. After that, there was a panel interview with 3 people, and it lasted for an hour. They told me to prepare 12 different situations and not to repeat any answers, and I would have to answer 4 questions in each. Each interviewer asked the same 4 questions. It felt like a mind game, and if I had gotten an offer, I would have turned it down because it was a major red flag. It seemed like nobody communicated with each other before the interview. Candidates put time into preparing; I’d suggest not just reading the first four questions from the corporate list. It was disingenuous, to say the least.

The recruiter called me about the position and I scheduled time, but they didn't even give me the full amount of time to give my overview of my relevant experience. The recruiter cut me off and said just the last five years would be good, but the position looks for at least seven. Next steps by whom and by when were left very unclear and when I asked for clarification I was not provided any additional information, the recruiter just repeated what they'd just said. The recruiter closed by asking for me to send my resume, telling me they didn't have it, so when I looked, I had in fact sent it to the recruiter the same day they solicited me for an interview. Overall my impression was that this recruiter was not paying attention to both detail, my answers, and seemed very overloaded.
