After they reached out, the process was pretty quick. First, there was a video call with a supervisor. Then, I had an in-person lab tour and a second chat where we mostly discussed my resume and the specifics of the role and company. They let me know about the offer about two weeks later, but I turned it down for a better opportunity.

I talked to 6 people in total. One was with HR, one with the hiring manager, then a two-person panel interview with random people, and finally back-to-back interviews with some engineering folks. I got rejected the very next day with the standard automated HR email. The process itself was fine, but the way it was handled wasn't great. If you're going to make someone interview with 6 people, the least you could do is send a personal rejection email. I got the impression this company wasn't really sure what they were looking for because this was a new role. If you put a candidate through that many interviews, it's clear you don't know what you want.

Had a phone screening, then went in for an in-person interview. They asked usual questions about my background, when I'm available, and about my personality. The people interviewing were nice and professional. It did take a while to hear back though. It would be nice if the job postings were clearer about what they are actually looking for, because it doesn't seem like they really just want a high school diploma.

Had a few interviews. The first one was with leadership and was pretty straightforward. The second time around, I got to meet the team, and that interview was more relaxed. There was an onsite skill assessment which was quite challenging for me, mainly because I hadn't been in that role for a bit.
