& Process

I met with the team for 3 different interviews. First a phone conversation with my contact there. Then an interview with the studio lead and principal. Then, a final conversation to negotiate the terms.

I had a lot of emails from an HR coordinator, then a phone interview with three people, and then an in-person interview at their office. They said they needed to make hiring decisions quickly because of a new contract and a lot of work. I got a call the next day from upper management saying they were 'working on an offer' but my salary request was higher than they expected, which surprised me because my salary was on my application. I said I'd still consider their offer. They told me to wait for an email offer. After not hearing anything for a week, I contacted the HR coordinator who said I was still being considered. After another week of silence, I emailed the people who interviewed me in person. I haven't heard back at all. I was surprised by the lack of communication since the interviews went so well and they seemed excited to have me. It would have been more professional to just send an email saying they weren't hiring me instead of ignoring me.

It was moderately challenging. There were 3 interview rounds. The first was with HR, the second with studio leaders, and the last one was with the head of the department.
