Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Nedbank.
IT Project Manager
They seem to need help and people to do the work, but they aren't really sure what they're looking for. The questions were all over the place, and nobody turned their cameras on, so it felt like I was just talking to myself the whole time. It was impersonal and honestly pretty rude.
- Do you have experience in Finance, IT, Agile, and Project Management, and can you communicate with the C-suite?
Project Manager
The interview process was pretty standard and involved a few assessments before an offer was made. It all wrapped up in under two months. I interacted with several people, from the recruiters all the way through to the onboarding team.
- Can you describe the typical project lifecycle from initiation through to completion?
- What project management methodologies are you familiar with and how would you apply them?
- How do you handle project scope changes and ensure they are managed effectively?
Senior Project Manager
The interview process was very thorough and I really enjoyed the engagement. It was a good learning process too, especially since it was later in the year. The people were very knowledgeable and had great energy.
- What makes you want to work here?
