So I had this interview for a full stack role. First, there was a take-home test with some coding challenges in different languages, and also a few questions about personality. Then, I had a meeting with some Engineers to go over my answers. They seemed happy with how I did, and the next day, HR called with a verbal offer. I tried to negotiate a bit higher salary, and they said they'd think about it. After that, I got ghosted for a month, and finally received a rejection (the actual interview part was super fast, like 3-4 days total).

You should prepare for some easy LeetCode questions, and also some behavioral ones. They will also ask puzzle questions and some questions from your resume about your projects and school achievements. Be ready to describe everything you've completed and be confident. The interviewers are kind and helpful, so you can ask any questions and you'll get a good response back.

Technical Behavioral

My interview had 5 rounds: 3 technical, 1 managerial, and 1 HR round (which felt managerial too). Compared to my peers, my interview was pretty tough. They covered Java, AWS, React, JS, MySQL, and MongoDB. For my peers, the Java questions were basic, sometimes the interviewer even answered for them. Even after reaching the final round, the 'HR' (who was actually a tech lead elsewhere) rejected me and others for reasons like participating in NGOs (Rotaract, NSS) or showing interest in new tech. They ended up hiring candidates who failed the first round, mainly for diversity, not necessarily for suitability.
