Support Engineer
So I applied through their website and then had a quick 30 minute chat with the recruiter. After that, there was a take-home skills test that involved some Salesforce configuration, which wasn't too bad since most of the info is online. It took me about 3 hours, and that was with double-checking everything, even though I'd barely used Salesforce before. Then, there was an on-site panel interview with three people. They went over my resume, asked about my Salesforce experience, and explained what the job would entail. Everyone I talked to was super friendly and made it really laid back. The only minor issue was the response time between stages.
- What motivates you to want to work at nCino?
- Can you share your experience with Salesforce?
- Describe a time you brought fun into the workplace.
Support Engineer
Had 2 phone interviews, then an onsite interview with a panel. They asked a few technical questions. I couldn't quite place it, but the interview felt a bit off. After checking out other nCino interviews, I realized they were checking for cultural fit, and I guess I didn't make the cut.
- Can you share your experience?
- What are your reasons for wanting to join our company?
- What was your source for learning about this opportunity?
Support Engineer
The interview process included an initial phone call with the hiring manager, followed by a skills assessment, and then a panel interview. Even after positive interviews, there was a month-long delay in communication before receiving a rejection email citing that they hired candidates with more experience for an entry-level role. This raises concerns about how one is expected to gain experience for a junior position if entry-level candidates are not hired.
- Could you share an instance of a positive interaction with a team member?
- Can you describe a negative experience you had working with a team member?
