Production Supervisor
HR reached out to set up an interview. I gave them my availability, and they said they'd get back to me that day. They never did. I tried calling a few times over the next few weeks with no luck. Just when I thought it was a lost cause, HR contacted me again. We successfully scheduled the interview this time. I was called after the scheduled time. The interview lasted an hour and went well. After a couple of weeks, I followed up to see if I was still being considered. Like the first attempt, there's been silence from them.
- Can you discuss your skills?
- Can you share your experiences?
- Can you discuss your leadership abilities?
Supply Chain Position
I applied and got a call back the next day to schedule a phone screen with the recruiter. Then, I had another phone interview with a business manager. After that, I had 5 on-site interviews, and I felt they all went really well. The whole process was super fast and efficient up to that point. But then, after the on-site interviews, the recruiter stopped responding to my emails about the job status. I finally got a standard rejection email five weeks later. I really wish the recruiter had been more helpful after the interviews, especially since waiting five weeks is a long time when you're unemployed.
- Tell me about the logic behind your decisions, for example, why you chose your university.
- Explain your reasoning for choosing your major.
- Can you describe your thought process for selecting your first job?
Sales
I applied through Linkedin and got a call from the recruiter the next day. We had a phone chat, and then she asked me to come in for an in-person meeting. During that meeting, she asked basic questions about my resume and HR sales questions like how I handled sales difficulties. Then, I got an email to meet with the company director. That meeting was more about getting to know me and seeing if I'd fit the company culture. They asked me back for another face-to-face meeting where I presented what I could bring to the company. The next day, they made me an offer, which I accepted. The whole experience was great, handled professionally, and everyone was nice.
- Can you tell me your motivation for wanting to join NCH?
- What insightful questions do you have for me?
Database Administrator
The interview had 3 rounds. The first one was a phone call with HR, and it was all behavioral. The second interview was with the Manager over the phone, and it was a mix of HR and technical questions. The 3rd round was at the head quarters and was more technical. All three rounds were easy if you have knowledge of what is mentioned in your resume. Also confidence is the key.
- Can you share an instance of a failure and how you dealt with it?
