Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at NBA.
Coordinator
The interview process was pleasant and took about a month. I had six rounds in total. First, I talked to the HR Coordinator, and then for each subsequent round, I met with different team members, including Directors, Managers, and VPs.
- In what ways can you introduce a novel and fresh viewpoint to this position?
Coordinator
It was a long interview that focused on my character and my passion for the game. I wish all interviews were this good. I'd definitely suggest this to anyone looking for a job in the NBA.
- Did you play basketball in the past?
Coordinator
The whole process took a really long time and communication was pretty bad between interviews. They mentioned some expectations at the start, but these kept changing. They asked for interviews at the last minute multiple times. I was told there was only one more interview left, but then more kept getting added.
- Can you describe a situation where you collaborated with different partners?
