It was a long and difficult interview process, but they were very thorough, which I appreciated. The interviewers were knowledgeable and professional, and they seemed genuinely enthusiastic about their work. I'd describe it as tough but very fair.

I applied online and the whole thing took over 3 months. It started with a Skype call with HR, just asking some basic behavioral stuff. Then, another Skype call, this time with an HR person and a current associate. They dug deeper into the first round questions, asking hypothetical scenarios related to my resume, like 'tell me a time you struggled,' 'describe when you took leadership,' etc. The final round was in New York. It involved a quick quiz, a written case study, and then a panel interview and presentation for the top execs. They wanted to know which departments I was interested in and my thoughts on the NBA's business challenges.

There were three interview rounds. A HR person handled the first round, asking general questions about my resume. The second round required me to submit a brief self-introduction video. Finally, I had separate interviews with two managers from different departments for the last round. One manager was pleasant, but the other was somewhat confrontational and started 30 minutes late.
