I had a great first interview. It was a thirty minute interview on Zoom where the interviewer asked me about my past experiences and why I was interested in Naxion. Two questions at the end that were pretty simple (one probability question and the other was a question about issues with a survey). The second round of interviews was pretty awful and made me not want to work for the company. It was three back-to-back interviews with higher-ups. I did not get a single question about myself or why my background fit well with the company but all the questions were mini-cases or random knowledge questions. In one question, there was a division problem and I asked if I could use a calculator and the guy laughed at me and said "Wow if you need to." On top of the negative experience, they told me they would get back to me within two weeks. My second round of interviews were on February 1st 2024, and after emailing them two times afterward, they did not reject me until May.

- Can you explain what a derivative, an integral, and a p-value are? Also, what's the difference between an ionic and covalent bond?
- The interviewer showed me PowerPoint slides with graphs and asked questions about them. There were also questions about customer surveys: given customer responses, what would your next steps be? For example, you have a yogurt company that promotes healthy yogurt and gives out 3 yogurt samples to 300 people and asks them which one they like best. Results are 5% liked your brand (brand A), 50% liked brand B, and 45% liked brand C, what would your next steps be based on the results? If you created another survey or experiment what would it be?

There were 6 interviews in total. It started with some background calls, then there were 4 final interviews. They asked about my interest in the team, the work, and my critical thinking. If you look at the company website and understand the work they do and how you fit, the interviews are not too tough.

It was a two-round interview process. The first round was a standard interview. The second round was more in-depth and involved meeting various team members. This second round also included a test where I had to look at graphs and survey questions. Overall, it was a pleasant experience, and I met some interesting people.
