Business Operations Analyst
I put in my application on their website on 2/7/2022. A Recruiter reached out that same week to schedule a phone screen, which we had on 2/14/2022. The Recruiter was friendly and explained the job and benefits well. The next day, I got an invite for a virtual interview with the hiring managers on 2/18/2022. It was supposed to be 30 minutes, but we talked for 1 hour and 30 minutes! We discussed their background, my background, benefits, and they asked me a few questions. The conversation was easy and enjoyable, and I knew right away I wanted the job. They mentioned they had more interviews to do and I might hear back in about a week. Around 2/28/2022, I emailed the Recruiter to check on feedback, expressing my continued interest. He replied promptly, saying he was meeting with the managers that week. In early March, the Recruiter called to offer me the position! I was impressed with the company's timing and communication throughout the hiring process. After accepting the verbal offer, a credit check was performed, taking about 3 days. Then, the Recruiter gave me the verbal offer with the pay rate, which I accepted immediately. I then got the offer letter via email with instructions for the background check and onboarding. Fingerprinting is part of onboarding and is simple to complete. So far, the whole experience has been wonderful. I can't wait to start in April!

Business Operations Analyst
I was at a career fair and a recruiter from Navy Federal Credit Union called me over. She looked at my resume and said it was good, then asked me to apply for a Business Operations Analyst job online. I didn't apply then, but she called me a month or two later and invited me for an interview. I accepted and had to fill out some forms and an essay question: "Describe one of your most meaningful achievements and how it relates to your future goals". The interview was at their HQ in Vienna, VA. When I got there, the front desk person said she'd call the recruiter to get me, but it took about 10 minutes past my interview time before she did. The recruiter then took me through the office area to a small room where two managers were waiting. They were dressed casually, like most people I saw there. The interview took about an hour and included general getting-to-know-you questions and several behavioral questions. I also got to ask them questions at the end. The managers were chill and let me take my time thinking about answers. But, they had a lot of questions and it felt like they were just checking boxes rather than having a real conversation. One manager hinted at a second round, the other didn't seem to think it was necessary. I never heard back from them after the interview.

Business Operations Analyst
I had a phone call first with a recruiter who wasn't super clear on the job details and promised a higher salary than what seemed realistic. Then I had a sort of in-person interview where I met my boss's boss face-to-face, but my direct manager was on speakerphone. They asked standard questions about my personality and my technical background. No math problems or case studies were involved.
- Did they ask you about specific optimization techniques, and were they interested in general answers to show you knew what you were talking about?
- Were there personality questions?
- Were there general technical background questions?
