I went into the branch and had an interview with the assistant manager of that location, and another location manager joined via Zoom. They spoke about why they liked Navy Federal, asked me some questions about myself, and then we proceeded with the interview questions.

I had 3 interviews for this role, with the final one being in-person. When I got there, they told me they had just hired someone but were looking to expand. Even though I have over 10 years of experience, they didn't seem to have my resume or know if it was part-time or full-time. One of the managers took a long time to write notes because she thought my answer was so good. They said I was an 'outstanding candidate' but had two more interviews that day and would be in touch. I got feedback within two days and was told they wanted to offer me the job, pending manager approval for a start date on Wednesday. Wednesday came and I heard nothing. I tried to contact my contract manager but got no response. Today, I got an email saying they decided not to proceed. I feel misled and that my time was wasted. If they had told me the position was filled, I would have kept looking. As a military wife, I expected better from this company, especially given the positive things I'd heard about working there.
