this was the worst interview experience. The interviewers seemed to dislike me from the start. They kept asking questions about topics I explicitly stated I didn't have experience in. They were not friendly at all and provided no guidance during the algorithms test.

Coding Technical

The interview was about 70 minutes total. It included one live-coding question that was around LeetCode easy to medium difficulty, one very easy brain teaser, and then 7 questions about CS major topics like operating systems, databases, and networks. The CS questions were the main focus, and there were quite a lot of bottom-up questions.

Confirmed questions5 questions
  • Can you print only the characters that exist in a given string of 'a' to 'z' characters, sorted alphabetically, while ensuring O(1) time complexity?
  • Solve a live-coding problem, roughly LeetCode easy to medium difficulty.

Technical Coding Behavioral

First, they reviewed my resume and application (4 Questions). Then, I had to complete a personality assessment and a coding test with 4 problems. After that, I had a practical interview with a senior Software Engineer where we did 2 or more live coding exercises and discussed CS fundamentals like OS, databases, and networks. The next step was an in-depth interview with an executive or leader, focusing on personality-related questions. Finally, they made a job offer and we negotiated.

Confirmed questions3 questions
  • What steps would you take if you weren't being assigned any work by your manager?
  • How would you react if your manager seemed to be ignoring you and not giving you tasks?
  • If your boss isn't giving you any assignments and is ignoring you, what would you do?
