They do their homework before hiring people, so make sure you know what you're getting into. Word gets around fast if you're not a good fit. They're good at what they do, and if you're worried about what others think of you, this probably isn't the place for you. They'll be upfront about performance expectations. Planning is key here.

It was a to-the-point, basic 1:1 interview. The interviewer was nice and followed a sheet of questions. The questions were straight-forward, and at the end, they asked if I had any questions. I was always taught that in an interview, even if you don't have questions, to ask at least one. I didn't have any, but I asked what her favorite/least favorite part of the job was. Later, many months after my interview, I learned that my interviewer always looked to see if interviewees asked questions. They also required 3 phone numbers of references.

The interview was pretty chill, and the manager was really nice. They made it feel relaxed, so I could easily talk about my background and skills. We talked about what a Sales Associate does at Nautica and they seemed interested in how I could help the team. All in all, it went smoothly and felt good, making me want to join them.
