Got a recruiter call first, then went through 3 rounds of interviews. The last round had a bug reporting test and a language fluency test. The whole thing took over a month because of the holidays. The interviewers were really nice and seemed super into the company. Even though they gave me good feedback, the recruiter let me know I wouldn't get an offer because the company's needs changed.

I found the job posting on craigslist and didn't realize it was for Naughty Dog initially. I got an email saying they were interested in talking, so we did a phone interview. Soon after, they scheduled me for an in-person interview with a group of managers. Once I passed that, I had to do a 'playtest' where I played an older game and noted down any bugs I encountered. After the playtest, they ran background checks on me and verified my references, but no drug test was involved.

The interview environment was laid-back and comfortable, making it easy to talk with the interviewers. The recruiting coordinator was really helpful with any questions I had beforehand. The interviewers were also very open to answering my questions about the company and their work. I was most impressed by their straightforwardness and genuine desire to find a good fit for both them and me. When discussing important topics, they were professional and engaged, which made me feel at ease. I got a bit nervous and rambled on some unrelated topics, but they listened patiently, seeming genuinely interested in assessing my fit for the role.
