- What motivates your interest in joining Natwest?
Graduate Trainee
First, you apply, then there's an online test which is automated. It includes a math test and a video interview. The math test is pretty easy, but I'd practice more just in case! If you pass that, you wait for a call for the assessment center, which is an online, one-day pre-booked event. If you pass the assessment center, you get an offer call.
- What is your motivation for this position?
- What makes you want to join our company?
Graduate Trainee
I applied for a graduate role at NatWest, and I was pretty excited about it. I prepped for the online assessment, which had four parts. But, I messed up in the first activity, picking a wrong answer. This led to an immediate rejection, and I didn't get to do the rest of the assessment. It's a bummer that one wrong answer got me disqualified, I really think I could have shown I was a good fit if I'd finished. It just feels like a robotic process, not about finding the best person.
