I got this opportunity through on-campus recruitment. After my resume was shortlisted, I directly interviewed. The interview was mainly about situational questions and how I would apply concepts. The interviewer was more interested in my problem-solving approach rather than just the final answer. Basically, it was a mix of checking my technical knowledge and my practical decision-making skills.

You have 10 days to finish the 4 parts of the process. Once you pass a part, the next one opens up. The 4 parts are: work scenarios where you pick options, a reasoning skills test that was short on time, and then the interview part. For the interview, they asked why NatWest and about a time you learned something new. You get 2 minutes to get ready and 2 minutes to answer, which felt like not enough time to say everything. I heard back one business day later saying I didn't get the job. They did send an email with advice on how I could get better. It was a good experience overall.

The interview process kicked off with an initial stage involving work scenario questions, alongside verbal and numerical assessments. Following that, there was a second stage with seven brief video questions focusing on topics like your motivation for joining NatWest, teamwork, making commitments, and significant decisions. The final stage was an assessment centre, which included a group activity, a one-on-one interview, and behavioral questions.
