Sales Representative
A well-structured interview process is key for companies to find top talent and for candidates to have a fair and transparent experience. While variations exist between companies and job levels, a typical interview process generally follows these steps: 1. Initial Screening (Resume and LinkedIn Analysis) This is the first phase, where recruiters review submitted applications. What happens: The focus is on identifying candidates who meet the minimum job requirements (experience, education, specific qualifications). Relevant keywords on resumes and LinkedIn profiles are crucial at this stage. Tools: Recruitment software (ATS - Applicant Tracking Systems) are often used to automatically filter resumes based on predefined criteria. 2. First Contact: Initial Phone or Short Video Call Screening After the initial screening, the most promising candidates are contacted. What happens: A brief chat (15-30 minutes) to verify resume information, understand salary expectations, availability, and confirm if the candidate is genuinely interested in the role and if their cultural fit aligns with the company. It's also an opportunity for the recruiter to present a bit more about the role and the company. Goal: Confirm candidate interest, clarify basic questions, and save time for both the candidate and the hiring manager.
