Investment Banking Analyst
There were 3 rounds with operationals and 1 round with HR. It was mainly technical, fit questions, and some behavioral questions. They asked about motivation for joining Natixis, understanding of different IB products, why this location, what do you know about Natixis, and questions about your CV.
- Could you describe a recent equity offering deal and tell me what made it interesting?
- Can you explain the steps involved in a block trade?
- What motivates you to want to join Natixis?
Investment Banking Associate
had multiple rounds of interviews with senior managers, including one on one interviews and a group interview. Questions, general discussions and case study. There was a lot of waiting time in between.
- Financial case study on an old transaction with Q&A
- Test modeling expertise
M&A Intern
Generally, there are 3 rounds. In the interviews, I met between one and two people each time. For the first two, they were analysts who asked me questions combining fit and technical aspects. It's possible to do the interviews in person or via video call. For the last round, I had a case to do which involved a DCF. We have 1 hour to complete it, followed by a debrief with a team member.
- Can you tell me about the deals our firm has recently been involved in?
- What is your familiarity with the TMT sector?
- Could you walk me through the business model of a data center?
