I was really happy to get the call for an interview at Natixis. Natixis is known for its great reputation in finance and I wanted to join their team. I researched the company and the industry beforehand. When I arrived at the London office, I was impressed by the facilities and how professional everyone was. I met with Kiyofumi Toriyama, who was very nice. He told me about his job in the Securitisation Department at Natixis and some of the perks of working there. He was professional and friendly. I'm hoping to follow up in the coming weeks to find out my status in the hiring process.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

After my resume was forwarded by a friend, the office admin contacted me for an interview very quickly. Two directors interviewed me. They explained the firm, their operations, and structure for about 20-25 minutes in response to my questions. I then talked about myself and my interest in finance. The main part of the interview involved them giving me an income statement to review privately for 10 minutes. They then asked me to present a story based on the statement. They seemed pleased with my presentation and told me so. They then introduced me to their boss, and after a brief chat, I left. If my friend hadn't referred me, I doubt my resume would have been considered. Getting a referral is crucial, don't just apply online. I got the formal offer about a week and a half later.

The interview process took quite a while, with noticeable gaps between stages. It would have been better if they had at least communicated updates or informed candidates who didn't advance, rather than leaving them in the dark.
