Went through 1st round via Zoom. Made the cut. Went to 2nd round panel interview. Think 1 of panel folks (deputy director level) is nit-picking on my CV's varying periods of employment. Which I can dare say it's partly by own choice (in the early part of career) and contractual hard stop date by previous organisations.

Recruiter reached out to tell me about the job, but didn't sound professional. They then arranged for an interview. Both the hiring manager and interviewer didn't seem interested in the interview right from the start. I'm not sure why they conduct interviews if they aren't keen on hiring. They also asked if I'd still be interested in the role if it was offered as a contract, even though the job ad and recruiter mentioned it was a permanent position.

Had a really nice interview with HR and the department AD. They didn't make me feel stressed at all. There were 2 interviews, and the second one was a test. Overall, I think the interview structure is good compared to other places. And now that I'm working here, it's a whole new experience with a great environment.
