First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at National Society of Leadership and Success.
Operations Enablement Coordinator
The first interview was quick and covered standard interview topics. The second interview, also scheduled promptly, involved meeting with your two potential supervisors. This second interview featured more unique and specific types of questions.
- Tell me about your biggest strength.
- What would you say is your biggest weakness?
- Could you expand on the information presented in your resume?
Partnerships Director
It was a really weird interview process. I had an initial call, and then an interview where they seemed really interested. But then they just ghosted me. After six months, they reached out again and wanted to repeat the entire process. What was also confusing is that their stories didn't match up. One person said they hadn't hired anyone, but another said they had hired someone who didn't work out. Overall, it left me with a bad impression, and I wouldn't have accepted a job there.
- Can you share your experience securing prominent speakers for events?
Support Manager
So the interview process had like two virtual meetings and then one in-person meeting. It started with HR, then the Assistant Directors, and finally the Directors and VP. Took about a month total from applying to the final interview. The HR person gave me some good tips on how to prep for each part, which was super helpful to get the most out of our talks. After the first chat, I had to do a logic/personality test online. The whole thing felt really smooth and professional.
- On a scale of 1-10, how would your previous supervisors evaluate your job performance?
- In what ways would your prior experiences contribute to your success in this role?
- Could you discuss your accomplishments and also your areas needing development?
Designer
The interview process was great overall. I went through multiple rounds of interviews and felt very welcomed by each person, and they seemed genuinely curious to hear what I had to say. None of the interview questions were particularly difficult, but were more-so aimed at understanding me as a person and what my work style is like, so they could see how I might be as a potential fit at the company. I finished the interview process super excited at the opportunity to work for the NSLS!
- Can you describe your DiSC Assessment style?
