I applied online and then the recruiter Carlos Moreno contacted me to schedule the phone screening. Once the interview started, he immediately jumped into the interview without any pleasantries or building rapport. He wasn't smiling and seemed very cold and distant. It felt more like an interrogation than an interview, and he didn't seem engaged with my answers. I felt anxious and uncomfortable. I was asked to move to the next stage but I declined because if this is the initial experience candidates have with NMDP, I imagine working there would be even worse.

I applied in April, and there were significant communication delays throughout the process. Nobody seemed sure about the next steps or timeline. The HR interview was quite disorganized; the interviewer didn't follow my resume chronologically and made assumptions about my past roles, requiring me to clarify my responsibilities. There was about a month between stages, and when I asked about timing or what was next, the typical response was 'I don't know.' They weren't even clear on the total number of interviews or when a decision would be made, even though they thought they had a start date. The manager interviews were average. I interviewed with two managers simultaneously. One had her camera on but pointed at the wall, which was odd. They also stated upfront that the focus isn't on work-life balance but 'harmony,' as balance is unlikely, and staff are expected to be available for donors outside of regular hours.

Started with a recruiter chat. Then met with two current managers in Case Management. The last interview was with the director of Case Management. Some other candidates heard back on the day we were supposed to. I found out through the grapevine. However, I wasn't contacted on the promised day. I'd interviewed for this role before, got feedback, used it, and was told to apply again. But still no offer. It's really discouraging and seems like it's nearly impossible to get promoted internally.

First, there was a 25-minute chat with the recruiter. They talked about the job and asked some questions, and I got info about the company. Then, I had an hour-long interview with the hiring manager.
