Behavioral Presentation

It took over two months for the recruiter to reach out. Then, they mentioned the hiring manager was on maternity leave and they were unsure about the timeline or status of the hiring process. I was asked to create a presentation deck to showcase my resume. I sent it, but there was no follow-up. The recruiter also mentioned a lot of turnover, which is concerning. They were a contractor. It seems like something is wrong, and I'm glad I didn't proceed further.

I applied for the job and the recruiter got back to me about 2 weeks later for a phone screen. Then they sent more questions by email. The final interview was supposed to be earlier but got pushed back. I got the zoom link after the meeting was supposed to start. The final interview eventually started late and was done virtually with one senior team member.

I went through several interviews for a Development position at NKF. I had one with HR in NY and another with the Executive Director in NC, even though I lived in a different state. I followed up with both multiple times but never heard back about the final interview. It's really frustrating when they don't circle back to let candidates know they should keep looking, especially when they seemed really interested. Job searching is tough enough without being ghosted and left hanging.

The internship is unpaid, but I really liked the company, so I applied. They depend a lot on their employees to organize events like the 5K run/walk and NKF gala in March. The internship has a strong marketing focus, but they mentioned that any business major can be trained for it. They asked about my schooling, past jobs, and future aspirations.
