First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at National CORE.
Analyst
Recruiting process is weird. Got a phone call from a recruiter and they said I'd be forwarded to the hiring manager, as that was the next step. Recruiter emailed the hiring manager out and said they'd reach out once he/she returned. I sent a follow up email and still no response from the recruiter or any feedback about the interview.
- What makes you think this organization is a good fit for you?
Resident Services Manager
There were 2 parts to the interview process. First, I had a virtual interview over Zoom with 3 of the main managing people. Then, about 30 minutes after that, I had a phone interview with another managing person. After those interviews, all communication was through email and phone with the hiring specialist.
- Why should we hire you?
- Why do you want to work for National CORE?
- Tell me about your experience dealing with people and building relationships.
Community Manager
The process moved quickly, and it was very welcoming. I had two interviews, and I got an offer letter the day after the second one. I first encountered the company at a job fair, where they presented a compelling vision of what they're looking for and what makes the team appealing. It was a great process, and I even got to meet the VP during my second interview, which was fantastic as most companies don't let you meet VPs and owners.
- Can you tell me about your five-year plan?
Marketing Coordinator
The interview process was really welcoming and made me feel comfortable. It felt very conversational because the interviewers were so personable, even though they asked relevant corporate interview questions. I felt very at ease throughout.
- Can you tell me about your strengths?
- What about your weaknesses?
- They also asked to get to know me on a more personal level.
