Principal Software Engineer
The recruiter reached out on LinkedIn. There were 5 tech rounds conducted late at night from the US. They provided feedback after each round, saying I was selected for all, but there's been no update after the final round. I gave them my details and docs for the offer release, but it's been 3 weeks with no word. The rounds were all conducted in the US during late hours, which felt like a waste of time for everyone. I suspect the management wasn't sure about what they needed. All panelists hinted that it's a startup environment and might require working late.
- Coding questions in GoLang.
- Questions about Kubernetes.
- Questions on distributed systems.
Software Development Engineer
I applied online and the whole process took about two weeks. The interviewers were really understanding and gave me extra time because of some personal stuff I was going through. It was a two-round process for a position in Cork, where a new team is being set up. The first round, which lasted 1.5 hours, was with the VP of the Cork site and a senior software consultant. We spent the first 30 minutes introducing ourselves and discussing the company. Then, I was asked some technical questions, and the last 30 minutes involved a live coding exercise and code review, which were pretty straightforward. The second round was a 45-minute session with a senior software engineer from the US. The first 30 minutes were a technical deep dive and discussion about my background, and the last 15 minutes were a code review. Overall, it was a quick and easy process, and everyone was very friendly. I'd definitely recommend this company.

Senior Software Engineer
The whole interview process took over two months. It began with a recruiter call, after which there was a week of silence. I had to send multiple emails, and another recruiter eventually contacted me to set up a phone interview. It took another two weeks to schedule this call. This pattern of delays continued, and it took three weeks just to schedule the onsite interview. The initial email stated a 4-hour interview, but the final schedule indicated 3 hours, though it didn't significantly impact anything. There were four rounds in total, each with a panel of two interviewers. Interestingly, even the interviewers seemed unaware it was a panel interview. From the start, none of the interviewers knew the specific position I was applying for and seemed unsure about what questions to ask. After the first question, they had a side discussion about who would ask the next question because they were both uncertain. It was apparent that either they were definitely planning to hire me (which didn't happen) or they had already extended an offer to another candidate. It felt like a complete waste of both their time and mine. Recruiters and managers should be more considerate of candidates' time and its value. I liked the people there, but the company really needs to improve its values and processes. The company has significant growth potential. The worst part was the week-long delay in responding to an automated email, requiring me to send three follow-up emails. Given how annoying and frustrating the process was, I'm just glad I don't have to deal with it anymore. This feedback isn't directed at the company itself, but rather its process and values.
- A basic coding problem involving arrays was presented on a whiteboard.
