First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Narvar.
Project Manager
There were several rounds of interviews. I was given a substantial case study that included about four to five situational questions. I was then asked to prepare and deliver a presentation based on this case study. This presentation was the fourth round of the interview process. Unfortunately, they decided to move forward with another candidate.
- How would you handle client escalations?
Project Manager
Had an initial phone screen with HR, then another phone call with the person currently in the role. The third step was an onsite interview that lasted 3 hours with 4 interviewers. They asked a lot of personality questions and questions about managing software implementation and customer relationships. Even though they said my experience was impressive, they decided not to hire me for the role. I asked for feedback, but they didn't have any specific points. The HR person wants to keep in touch for future opportunities. It seems like the company is going through some restructuring and the direction of the role is uncertain due to rapid growth and scaling issues. The HR Coordinator was very friendly and professional. The job is still posted on their website.
- Could you walk us through your project management process on the whiteboard?
Project Manager
The hiring process took about 2 months from start to finish, but the recruiter was really good about keeping me in the loop about where things stood. They also sent helpful info before interviews and gave me feedback quickly.
