Software Development Engineer
The take-home test wasn't complicated but took a lot of time (about 2 days) and needed attention to detail. I was drawn to the company because they do interesting, real-world work and offer relocation to Finland. The people I interviewed with (tech lead, group lead, SDE, and HR manager) seemed knowledgeable and friendly. It looks like my salary expectations (Finland's Blue Card threshold for 2020 plus a cent) were a bit too high, which is why I wasn't selected.
- What are your thoughts on making the test task more productive?
Software Developer Trainee

Software Engineer
So, first there was a take-home assignment that felt like it took 2-3 days of work. Then, we had a 2-hour technical interview where we talked about that assignment and also I had to solve some algorithms right then and there, plus some general questions about related technologies.
