I recently went through the initial stage of the hiring process at Namecheap for the Technical Support Engineer role. This first round was all about English grammar and sentence completion, and it was split into three parts. It was structured so that you had to pass each part to move on to the next. The difficulty was moderate, getting tougher as I progressed. It really focused on language skills and how well I could put sentences together, not on technical stuff.

So first you apply online, then there's a test for your English skills. After that, we have a verbal chat, and then some interviews specific to the role. The whole thing finishes with a behavioral interview. Make sure to do your homework and talk clearly!

Technical Behavioral

The interview process had two main stages. The first stage involved three rounds of computer-based interviews at the office. The second stage consisted of two rounds, one with HR and a technical chat interview. Honestly, applying here feels like a waste of time because they don't seem to select candidates even after a good performance. The first three rounds were already tough, and I passed them to get to the final round. The HR person was nice, but the technical chat interview was awful. They initially said it was just a test and not to feel pressured, but it was difficult. I gave my best effort. The next day, the HR informed me that I wasn't shortlisted without giving any specific reason. It makes you wonder if the company is playing with candidates' feelings. They could have just rejected candidates in the first round, stating they want to attract investors as the reason for hiring.
