The entire hiring process, from the English test to getting the offer letter, usually takes about 30-45 days. Pay close attention to the HR's instructions, they are important. First is the English test, which has 3 parts and you have to pass each one to move on. Part 1 is fill-in-the-blanks (sometimes without options, based on grammar). Part 2 is comprehension plus fill-in-the-blanks. Part 3 requires you to type responses to two given scenarios. After finishing the English tests, submit your resume and wait. Next is the interview stage, with 2 parts. Part 1 is a basic chat about the job and a brief self-introduction. After clearing Part 1, HR will explain the final stage. For the last interview, follow HR's instructions precisely. The day after the interview, they'll inform you of the results. For the first stage, focus on grammar (punctuation, tenses, phrases). For the second stage, it's all about communication and speaking confidently.

I recently went through the initial stage of the hiring process at Namecheap for the Technical Support Engineer role. This first round was all about English grammar and sentence completion, and it was split into three parts. It was structured so that you had to pass each part to move on to the next. The difficulty was moderate, getting tougher as I progressed. It really focused on language skills and how well I could put sentences together, not on technical stuff.

We had a computer-based test with 3 sections. You could only move to the next section if you successfully completed the current one. Failing any section meant you had to leave. The first section was about filling in blanks, mostly with prepositions or be-form verbs. The second section focused on comprehension and paraphrasing and lasted 45 minutes. The third section was situation-based, where you had to type your answer in a provided box, making sure to use correct grammar and punctuation. After passing all three sections, we had to send our resume to HR and wait for their email.

The entire interview process was conducted online. The HR person was nice and communicative, but was quite pushy about scheduling the different interview steps, constantly messaging on Skype. They sent me the wrong assessment for the role, so I had to complete two assessments, each taking several hours. The interview with the hiring manager was fine, though it felt more like they were telling me about their accomplishments rather than me introducing myself. I was ultimately rejected, and I didn't receive any constructive feedback that would help me improve.
